Mother nature.

God is often replaced with “Mother Nature”.

I’m a dad to be and it is changing me. Childbirth is such an amazing design, the more I learn about how it works, the more I am blown away.

Yesterday at our first childbirth class the instructor was explaining, with props, the journey of the child from the uterus to the outside world and how the passage was built just for that, just like mother nature had intended.

No. Mother nature doesn’t even exist. I realised that it is just a term people use because they do not want to acknowledge God. I had to bite my tongue to keep me from saying no, it is not mother nature. It is impossible to see the intricacies of childbirth, the body preparing itself, organs moving around, adapting - all part of a flawless design.

After yesterday’s session, I find it difficult to sit back and hear the credit being passed off to mother nature.

We are an intelligent design. There were no prototypes, no lab experiments gone wrong, no trial and errors. We were created by intelligent, flawless design. So intelligent that when our modern day science cannot explain it, they say “mother nature”.

No. It’s God, our Creator. Father of nature, Father of all.

I praise You, for I am wonderfully formed. You knit me together long before I was born. In Your wisdom You ordained all my days, I praise You.
